By downloading, installing, or using Bahi Khata ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please uninstall and discontinue use of the App immediately.

Bahi Khata is a free digital ledger application designed to help small business owners, shopkeepers, and traders track their customers, suppliers, and financial transactions. The App operates on an Offline-First basis, meaning data is primarily stored locally on your device.

By using the App, you agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful business purposes.
• Maintain the physical security of your device.
• Keep accurate records of your business transactions.
• Regularly backup your data to prevent accidental loss.
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or hack the App.

While we strive to provide a reliable application, we are not responsible for data loss occurring due to:

• Device malfunction, water damage, or theft.
• Uninstalling the App without a prior backup.
• Software conflicts or operating system bugs.
• Failure to sync with Google Drive regularly.

Bahi Khata is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce premium features in the future, but we are committed to keeping core ledger functionality accessible.

When you use the Backup feature, you subject yourself to Google's Terms of Service. We only access your Google Drive with your permission for the sole purpose of storing and retrieving your specific Bahi Khata backup files.

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prerevise shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits or data) arising from the use or inability to use the App.

The App, including its code, design, logo, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via the App or this website.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
